Shaolin Pao Chui 2nd Duan - 36 Move Staff

The 36-move Staff is a classical weapon form from Northern Shaolin Monastery. It is one of the few weapons that has been passed down in complete and unaltered form. The staff was chosen as the first weapon to study in Shaolin Pao Chui because the form has the additional benefit of strengthening the wrists and elbows and training the emission of force through the body. Hence, the 36-move Staff is not only a weapon to be used in self defence, it is also a training aid in the development of fa jin (explosive force emission).
